Members

The Halifax Symphony Orchestra is always on the look out for new playing members to join its talented team.

We rehearse from September to mid-May and perform three concerts per season primarily at the Halifax Minster and Victoria Theatre, Halifax.

The Halifax Symphony Orchestra is part-funded through an annual subscription scheme that covers playing members, students and friends of the orchestra. The subscription fees are:

Playing Members £85.00
Students FREE
Friends £25.00

All of the above are minimum amounts, and members may subscribe more should they wish to do so. Fees are payable by Bank Transfer to the Halifax Orchestral Society. Bank account details can be obtained on request, from the Personnel Secretary.
Tax-payers are invited to sign a Gift Aid Declaration form which enables the orchestra, as a registered charity, to re-claim tax paid.

Rehearsals take place 7:30pm - 9:30pm on Monday evenings at Heath United Reformed Church
